OVTA 50th March: Kings Mountain National Military Park

Join the Overmountain Victory Trail Association as they complete their 50th annual journey to Kings Mountain!

Kings Mountain National Military Park will commemorate the 244th anniversary of the October 7, 1780 battle on Monday, October 7, 2024. 

The commemoration will include a wreath-ceremony and presentations at the U.S. Monument at 11:00am. 

At 3:00pm, the Overmountain Victory Trail Association will perform their storytelling at the park amphitheater on the anniversary of the time of the battle.
