North Anna Battlefield Traditional Walk

The Fredericksburg Walking Club, which is a part of the American Volkssport Association, will have a Traditional Walk, with a casual picnic lunch in the picnic area, at North Anna Battlefield on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Walkers may begin walking between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM and should finish no later than 2:00 PM. Our Trail Master will lead a 5K group walk at 10:00 AM. A choice of a 5K or a 10K walk is available and we will be walking on the current trails already in place. Cost is $4.00 for walkers getting AVA credit, and $3.00 for walkers not getting AVA credit. This is an AVA requirement. All walkers must sign a waiver at the start table and check back in at the finish table upon completion of the walk. The picnic lunch is free, and donations are appreciated. This is an excellent way for AVA walkers to learn about this historic battlefield and see this beautiful property.
