Learn the powerful story of Judith Jackson, an enslaved woman who sought freedom by joining with British forces during the Revolutionary War. Historian and author Adam Xavier McNeil shares Judith's incredible story and those of other enslaved mothers who faced an impossible choice—risk everything for freedom, or remain home in bondage. Doors open at 5:30. Meet the presenter and enjoy refreshments and door prizes. Advance registration appreciated but not required.
