The hay harvest was one of the most important tasks of the year, as it would sustain livestock through the long winter. It was also one of the most labor-intensive. We will demonstrate all the steps in the process, including hand-mowing with scythes! Location: Thompson-Neely Farmstead, 1638 River Road, New Hope, PA Time: Friday July 24th 2026, 11am – 3pm This free event is part of our Monthly Living History Series.
