Join us for the Cedar Run Church on January 17, 2026, at 5:00 pm for a special Lee-Jackson Day lecture delivered by Harry Sonntag and hosted by the Cedar Mountain Battlefield Foundation. Harry will be discussing the relationship between Gen Robert E. Lee and LtGen Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson and their connection through Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire. Harry Sonntag is a recognized leader in historical preservation and public education and serves as the President of Civil War Historic Impressions, Inc. For more than 15 years, he has developed immersive living-history programs, battle reenactments, and first-person portrayals that bring America’s past to life. As a respected public speaker, Harry has delivered keynote addresses at Lee-Jackson Day commemorations, including a presentation in the Old House of Delegates at the Virginia State Capitol. His programs have also been featured by the Gettysburg Foundation, Chancellorsville Commemorations, the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, among other organizations.
