Junior Ranger Day at Stones River National Battlefield

Junior Rangers of all ages can explore and learn through four special hands-on activities and earn special Junior Ranger Day prizes. The event runs from 10 AM through 3 PM with an hour break for lunch at noon.
Junior Rangers can participate in the following activities:
- Load, Ready, Fire - Learn what it takes to fire a cannon with artillerymen.
- Attention, Squad - Experience the drill of an infantryman using our toy muskets.
- Civil War Archeology - Discover what we can learn from artifacts found blow the ground.
- Artists in the Park - Use your art skills draw or paint the natural beauty of the battlefield.
This event will also feature cannon firing demonstrations at 10 AM and 1 PM and musket firing demonstrations at 11 AM and 3 PM.
