Juneteenth Junior Ranger Station

Join park staff at our Junior Ranger Junction pop up station to learn more about Andrew Redman, a blacksmith enslaved by William Lewis who earned his freedom with the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863.

On Juneteenth, children will have the chance to do a special craft created for the day as they learn more about blacksmithing from Matt Walker, who will be providing demonstrations throughout the day.
