Hamilton Grange Earth Day Clean-Up

In honor of Earth Day there will be a clean-up of Hamilton Grange National Memorial grounds Sunday April 26, 2026. This will involve collecting and disposing of trash and the debris on the grounds as well as invasive species removal. Volunteers may also have to interact with visitors. Ability to work independently and follow all safety rules set by the NPS and partners and dress according to the volunteer uniform policy. The work will be performed with coordination of the lead ranger or volunteer supervisor. Weather Conditions: All or most volunteer hours will be completed outdoors in varying weather. During extreme heat or extreme cold volunteer hours may be shortened or canceled. In any unsafe weather conditions volunteer hours will be canceled. Please use personal judgment for how you will be able to volunteer in varying weather. Health and Safety: Volunteer agrees to complete a self-health assessment before each volunteer shift, participate in a health and safety orientation prior to beginning volunteer duties, and to follow all health and safety protocols
