Ninety Six National Historic Site will be a host site for the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census on August 21st and 22nd from 10am to 2pm.
This is a family friendly activity where you can be a citizen scientist and collect important data about pollinators.
Here is how it works:
- Visit the Great Southeast Pollinator Census tent at Ninety Six National Historic Site on August 21 or 22 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Pick up a clipboard, pencil, and pollinator counting sheet.
- Choose a favorite flowering plant in the park that has pollinators visiting it.
- Count all the pollinators that visit that plant for 15 minutes.
- Return to the tent and submit your data.

Other Insects
Your efforts will help generate useful date about pollinator populations and increase your entomological (insect) literacy!
