"On Fame’s Eternal Camping-Ground" Ranger Program

Join a Shiloh National Military Park ranger Saturday, July 18, for a special program called “On Fame’s Eternal Camping-Ground.” This roughly one-hour-long program will examine the grisly work of burying the dead following the Battle of Shiloh, the creation of the national cemetery, and take a closer look at the Confederate burial sites in the park. 

If you’re interested in joining this special battlefield talk, meet the ranger at tour stop #14 at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 18. You should be prepared with water, insect repellant, and sunscreen. Visitors are also welcome to bring a chair if they would like to sit for the talk.
