Are you looking for ways to help your students connect with American Revolution history during the 250th anniversaries? Is it extra challenging because you're not in one of the original 13 states? Don't worry! It can take an extra dash of creativity, and it can be worth the "aha moment" as students see a tie to the American Revolution from their own local community or personal interest.
You’re invited to join the American Battlefield Trust for a Resource Spotlight Webinar, where we'll take a closer look at how to find and use lesser-known stories and local locations to ignite interest. Collect new, free resources and learning tools—including The Liberty Trail online portal and apps—to help explore and answer that question "But what happened here during the American Revolution?"
Kate Egner will share history accounts from The Liberty Trail that you've probably never heard before and show the far-reaches of the American Revolution. Sarah Kay Bierle will wrap up the program with a rapid-fire idea list for finding a Revolutionary history connections to share with your students during the 250th anniversaries and the on-going pursuit of liberty.
