Join the Central Virginia Battlefield Trust for their annual conference on the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House. 

On September 12, there will be a half day tour with retried NPS historian and author Donald Pfanz on the following topics: Massaponax Church, the Armies March to North Anna, and Richard Ewell.

On September 13, join Chris Mackowski on a tour of the Spotsylvania battlefield. This is a bus tour beginning at 9:00 and ending at 4:00, and Chris will take the group to various spots on the battlefield, such as Spindle Field, Lee's Last Line, and the Harris Farm (which is preserved by the CVBT). From 6:00 to 9:00, enjoy dinner and a keynote presentation from Dr. Ken Noe on The Howling Storm: Weather, Climate, and the American Civil War.

Lastly, on September 14, there will be a breakfast buffet at 9:00 and the morning keynote speaker will be Brian Steel Willis. The presentation will be about Brian's book, Inglorious Passages: Noncombatant Deaths in the American Civil War.
