Robert M. Dunkerly

Author, Historian, Interpreter, Richmond National Battlefield Park,

Robert M. Dunkerly holds a degrees in History from St. Vincent College and a Masters in Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to arriving at Richmond National Battlefield Park, he worked at eight other historic sites. His research in the fields of archaeology, colonial life, military history and historic commemoration has resulted in books on both the American Revolution and the Civil War. His latest, "To the Bitter End," debuts this month from Savas Beatie.
