John Waugh

John C. Waugh is a former newspaper correspondent turned Civil War historian whose writing has appeared in such national publications as the New York Times, the Washington Post and Civil War Times Illustrated. Among his books is The Class of 1846, which explores the legendary West Point class of 1846. He and his wife, Kathleen, live in Pantego, Texas.
