Concerned Preservationists Fight Against Culpeper Development Threats

Preservationists understand the value of all different types of historic resources whether they are battlefields, museums, artifacts or heritage sites – all of which Culpeper County has in spades. The recent inundation of data center and industrial-scale solar facility proposals threatens all of these sites, since each is currently being considered piecemeal rather than through an orderly process and evaluation matrix, against a selection or pre-vetted regions. Priceless history will be lost if decisions are not paused until the current comprehensive plan update is completed.
