Cold Harbor Battlefield Park is a county park with interpretative trails commemorating the battle fought there from May 31 to June 12, 1864. The 50-acre park surrounds the historic Garthright House. Included on the property are numerous Civil War trenches and rifle pits.
Petersburg, Virginia | Part of the National Parks Service, this historic site was witness to the longest military event of the Civil War, The Siege of Petersburg.
Mechanicsville, Virginia | From May 31 to June 12, 1864, the armies of Lee and Grant fought one of the bloodiest battles in American history at this site.

Henrico, Virginia | Last of the Seven Days' Battles of the Peninsula campaign, on July 1, 1862, McClellan's II and V Corps retreated along the James River and defended the strong natural position of this historic site, part of the National Park Service, against Lee's assault.
