We need your help as a Virginian to reach out to your General Assembly representatives over the phone. Thank you for lending your voice to urge your state delegate to support measures to increase funding for the Virginia Battlefield Preservation Fund and to direct the state to study the creation of a Brandy Station and Cedar Mountain State Park.
Please complete the form on this page, and you will soon receive a phone call at the number you enter. Then, simply answer your phone, and we’ll make sure that you’re patched through to the right office. Once your senator or a staff member is on the line, keep the call short and simple:
This is most important: let the person who answers your call know who you are — tell them your name and where you live, so that they’ll know you’re a constituent.
Explain that you’re calling to ask for your delegate’s support of several legislative items – one being increased funding for the Virginia Battlefield Preservation Fund in the 2020-2022 budget, and a second that would direct the Commonwealth to study the creation of a Brandy Station and Cedar Mountain State Park.
Provide your delegate’s office with the specific budget amendment and bill numbers for these two amendments:
Above all, be polite — and be concise. When you’re finished, thank the person on the line for their time.

Thank you, now as ever, for your support — and thank you for making a difference.
