Virtual Teacher Workshop: People, Places, Art and Battlefields

Partner Event
April 22, 2021 @ 5:00 PM

Join the National Portrait Gallery and the American Battlefield Trust along with veteran educators for a lively discussion about the people and places that helped create and define the United States. Make connections and consider the intersections between art and battlefields during the 18th and 19th centuries. The workshop will provide practical applications and all the links you need for use in your classroom! Space is limited so register and then spread the word! The event is free to all K-12 educators.

This workshop is intended for classroom teachers. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 24- 48 hours in advance of the program. The email will come from Eventbrite. Please only register for yourself. We will only be allowing participants into the meeting if their name (and email address) is on the registration list.

The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. For questions, or to request accommodations such as captioning, please email at least two weeks in advance of the program.
