In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to April 22, 2023

Message from the Volunteer Coordinator:
The Shepherdstown Battlefield cleanup runs from 9 am - 1 pm on Saturday April 15. See the SBPA Facebook page for weather updates on the day of the event. We meet at the Cement Mill Park parking area to start at the River Rd - Trough Rd intersection. We will divide into 2 teams for the Cement Mill and the Farm. We will address a list of items for each location. Then, no later than noon, each group will pick up trash on Trough Rd. The 'Union' group moving up from the river and the 'A.P. Hill' Division moving down from the farm. Then at 1 pm at the farmhouse, author Tom McGrath has agreed to lead a battlefield tour of the newly preserved- by the ABT- Far Away Farm. Bring snacks and water, see you in the battlefield!
