Morris Hill Cemetery in the 'SILENT CAMP' American Civil War veterans section by the Union Soldiers Memorial. 317 N. Latah Street, Boise, Idaho 83702
1) Clearing the 'Silent Camp' section of branches and twigs from the winter debris. 2) Cleaning weathered and weather-stained headstones following approved methods. No harsh or chemical cleaners or scrubbers will be allowed. 3) Cemetery plots will be weeded and the base of the Soldiers Memorial will be cleaned.

History or Educational Activities
Cemetary historians will use a half hour break at noon to relate the history of Morris Hill Cemetery and why 20,000 Civil War veterans moved to Idaho.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Volunteers need to bring a plastic bucket and soft brush. They should wear plastic gloves and a Covid-19 mask.
Is there a rain date?
Vonunteers will be instructed in approved social distancing methods and in working without sharing tools while in an outdoor venue. A station for hand sanitizers or hand washing will be set up at the hospitality tent.
