Planned Activities
This is our annual Spring cleanup where we REMOVE all OLD gravesite decorations (old flowers, dead flowers, wreaths) flags. We also check for missing or broken Veteran flag holders. We prepare the equipment for the upcoming growing season. We pick up debris, fallen branches, tree limbs and ready the ground for growing season.
We will also need volunteers to work closely with our data/record keeping person to help us continue to record and photograph EACH section. (This is a highly tedious process to be done by highly focused volunteers as the information will be placed in our online data software. Instructions and internet access is needed.)
Finally, depending on weather, we will ready cradle graves for planting and clean headstones (Training is needed.)

History or Educational Activities
We will have volunteers who will provide TOURS and trivia during the Annual Clean Up day.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Adult volunteers can bring their own lawn equipment (weeders/lines, rakes, ) and other gear to remove debris, sticks, stumps, trees that grow between headstones, rubber gloves, work gloves.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
Please note
Volunteers should wear outdoor gear and bring work gloves. The cemetery has many VOLE holes, hills and rough areas. Volunteers must also be careful of the fragile headstones when working around them, especially with equipment.
