Meeting place: Barracks Building inside Star Fort

Meeting time: 10:00am

Planned Activities: Clearing Brush, Landscaping, Trash Removal

Planned Low-Impact Activities: working indoors clean buildings, washing windows, sweeping floors

Bring Tools & Supplies: work gloves, proper boots

History or Educational Programs: John Gibney-Historian will be providing talks throughout the day on Michigan in the Civil War. We also will have displays on the Civil War and War of 1812

Food provided: Yes, a meal will be provided

In the Event of Inclement Weather: Continue as planned

Please note: We have inside work (general cleaning, dusting, washing windows, sweeping floors, mopping floors) of some of our buildings, barracks and Visitor Center. We will be working on the grounds and landscape. We will be moving benches out of our storage areas to their locations around the site.
