Join this site as a volunteer on Park Day 2018, the American Battlefield Trust’s annual hands-on event to help battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. Meeting place: 1892 Zeigler House - Historic Edenton Visitor Center, 108 North Broad Street, Edenton North Carolina, 27932

Meeting time: 9:00 A.M.

Planned Activities: Building or Repairing Fences, Clearing Brush, Landscaping, Painting, Planting, Trash Removal

Planned Low-Impact Activities: Tidying outdoor areas and possible painting will be offered for children.

Bring Tools & Supplies: Though the site will provide the bulk of the supplies,hand tools such as paint scrapers, rakes, and work gloves will be appreciated.

History or Educational Programs: The site will offer free tours of the historic James Iredell home and property to all volunteers who participate in our park day activities. Colonial yard games will also be offered for younger participants.
