Meeting place: Evergreen Cemetery, 256 Benjamin H Hill Dr E, Fitzgerald, GA 31750

Meeting time: 9:30 AM

Planned Activities: Clearing Brush, Trash Removal, Trail Mainenance

Planned Low-Impact Activities: Picking up trash, clearing leaves, general cleaning of Cemetery ground

Bring Tools & Supplies: Gloves (if wanted), Rakes if possible, and Clothes for outside grounds keeping work

History or Educational Programs: No

Food provided: Yes, water and snacks

In the Event of Inclement Weather: The next Saturday, April 14th, if the weather forecast again calls for rain the event will be canceled altogher

Please note: Our goal for this park day is to help clean and maintain the grave markers and plots for the Civil War veterans, their families, and others in the Cemetery who were instrumental in the founding of Fitzgerald.
