Join this site as a volunteer on Park Day 2018, the American Battlefield Trust’s annual hands-on event to help battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. Meeting place: Park Visitor Center

Meeting time: 9:00 AM

Planned Activities: Clearing Brush, Landscaping, Trash Removal, Trail Mainenance

Planned Low-Impact Activities: trash removal around buildings

Bring Tools & Supplies: Gloves. Also, if you have a preferred landscape or gardening tool, that would helpful!

History or Educational Programs: Park staff will offer the story and significance of this site during the Civil War

Food provided: Yes, water only

In the Event of Inclement Weather: Cancel

Please note: This Civil War Park Day is 9am-1pm. Volunteers will be trimming limbs, cleaning around buildings, clearing trails and garden area, and helping to prep the site for the "Arrest of A.H. Stephens" program we host in May. Volunteers should bring gloves and preferred tools. Water will be provided. No fees will be charged for our volunteers. Visitors who are not volunteering pay regular admission rates. Please call ahead to register how many volunteers will be participating.
