Field of Remembrance at River Raisin National Battlefield Park

The River Raisin National Battlefield Park displays 500 flags each year to honor all those who have answered the call of their Nation to defend, protect and selflessly pay the ultimate sacrifice — the event will take place from Thursday, May 19 through Saturday, June 4. 

River Raisin National Battlefield Park is Michigan's largest battlefield and preserves and protects the sacred soil that became the final resting place of the largest number of United States soldiers killed in a single battle during the War of 1812.
