Join American Battlefield Trust Chief Historian Garry Adelman and longtime Park volunteer Mark Wheeler for a battle anniversary pop-up tour in the Trans-Mississippi! This tour will serve the casual visitor as well as those who are very familiar with the Battle of Pea Ridge, which was fought March 7-8, 1862, and resulted in a Union victory that secured all of Missouri and northern Arkansas for the North.
Bring the family and the kids, the more the merrier! This will be a car-caravan tour which will likely include three stops around the battlefield and will employ limited walking. And plan to spend the day if you want to avail yourself of the great anniversary events around the battlefield that day, including:
